A deputy from [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2008/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%8A]the Patriotic Union of[/url] Kurdistan expected that the new government headed by Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi will reconsider the federal budget bill for the year 2020, while noting that the Kurds may need a new agreement with the federal government.
Representative Sherwan Mirza said in a press statement: "The new government will review the draft federal budget law for 2020 according to its own vision."
He added: "If the budget items that pertain to the Kurdistan region are changed, then the regional government must send a new delegation to agree with [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/134564/%D8%AD%D9%83%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A9 %D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A]the Allawi government[/url] on new items, and if the existing items are not changed, the Kurdistan region must send a political delegation to the capital Baghdad to consult with the political parties to pass Budget within the House of Representatives. "
