, The Saturday parliamentary monitoring committee on the implementation of the government program and strategic planning, has identified priorities for the government of Muhammad Allawi, which must be followed.
A member of the committee, Inaam Al-Khuzai, said, "Allawi should take into consideration the focus on combating corruption and completing projects that exceed its completion rate by 50 percent, because there are many projects in which achievement rates exceed about 70 percent and they have been stalled for years without being completed." .
She added, "The transitional government should achieve twinning between the investment spending and the Chinese agreement, as the latter focuses on the reconstruction of infrastructure, while spending depends on the proper management of funds."
Al-Khuza’i indicated that “the government approach must be presented by Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi at least two days before the vote on his government formation.”
She pointed out, "This curriculum, which is considered actual steps towards implementation through the government program and its translation, has not yet reached the parliament."
She explained that "the correct construction of the state calls for the preparation of the resigned prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, for a complete report containing the rates of the achievement of the previous government program and the stages it reached, and the most important are the obstacles that prevented the achievement of advanced achievement ratios in it and delivered to the Prime Minister-designate."
