    Today, Saturday (August 28, 2021), Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Al-Hajraf, at Baghdad International Airport, to attend the Baghdad Summit for Neighboring Countries.


    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement received by  IQ News , that Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Al-Hajraf, at Baghdad International Airport, to attend the Baghdad Summit for Neighboring Countries.

    Baghdad is hosting the Neighboring Countries Conference today, with the participation of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Kuwait and Iran, and in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, as an observer, to discuss the situation in the region and bring the views of neighboring countries closer and joint cooperation.[/size]
