Member of Parliament, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, submitted a proposal to cover emergency expenses and support the ration card.

Al-Sudani said, "The interpretation of the limits of the powers of the daily caretaker government is clear, meaning that this government does not have powers to establish bills," noting that "any draft laws from the current government cannot be legislated, including the Emergency Food Security Law."

Al-Sudani added, "The best solution is to rely on financial advances to cover emergency expenses, to meet the requirements of the ration card."
