Kurdistan Parliament is concerned about the events and warns: Iraq is going through a difficult stage and its fate is unknown
Shafaq News/ The Speaker of the Parliament of Kurdistan, Riwaz Faeq, expressed on Thursday her concern about the recent events in Iraq, calling on the political forces and parties to play a positive role for calm.
Faeq said in her speech with the opening of the new legislative term sessions of the Kurdistan Parliament, "At the time when we announce the opening of the legislative term, Iraq is going through a difficult phase that has created a state of political, economic, social and security instability, the results of which are not easy to predict."
She added, "The country is stepping towards an unknown fate, and it is unimaginable that the spark of these fires will not reach us, so I call on the political parties and forces to unify their discourses and ranks, and try to play a positive role in extinguishing this fire."
