The Kurdistan Democratic Party reviews the “state administration” papers and warns: Any alliance that does not have the approval of al-Sadr will end soon
Shafaq News/ A representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the Iraqi parliament said on Tuesday that the presence of the Kurds in any political alliance aims to seek political stability, commenting on the news of the "KDP" joining a new bloc that includes Shiite and Sunni forces to form the new government .
Representative Yadgar Mahmoud told Shafaq News Agency that political conflicts have suspended Parliament for a long time and there were fears of a grinding civil war, but the current moves open up prospects for forming the new government.
The Kurdish parliamentarian commented on the "state administration" alliance, which has not been officially announced yet, that the presence of Kurdish forces in such alliances whose basis is the formation of a government is that we participate to reach political stability and that we, as active forces, can guarantee the rights of the Iraqi people in general and the people of Kurdistan as well. She said, "The alliance faces questions and challenges that should be in the eyes of everyone, namely, will this alliance guarantee the rights of the people in the center, the south and Kurdistan on the basis of citizenship? Can it achieve political stability? Will it be approved by the Sadrist movement? Because we expect that any government or any An alliance that does not have the approval of the current, it will be a near end."
The deputy indicated that the Kurdish forces will participate in this alliance to guarantee the rights of the people of Kurdistan, especially those guaranteed by the Iraqi constitution to the citizens.
Regarding the file of the Presidency of the Republic, Yadkar Mahmoud stressed that “the two main parties are not in disagreement over the position, but each of them has their own positions and views. Al-Halbousi is one of the poles of a tripartite alliance that also brought together al-Sadr and the Democratic Party, but this bloc was unable to form the Iraqi government, after months of tension and attraction with the coordination framework, which ended with al-Sadr's withdrawal from the political process.
The coordination framework is now addressing the efforts to form a government through his candidate, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, and through the formation of the "State Administration" coalition, which is awaiting the formal joining of the Kurds and Sunnis.
