    Iraq was elected a member of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs, during the meetings of Arab Environment Ministers, which began today at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo.


    The head of the Iraqi delegation, Minister of Environment and Agency Jassim Al-Falahi, stressed in his speech, "focusing on the environmental reality in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the challenges it faces, especially the challenge of climate change, drought, declining water revenues, desertification, the need for more energy, and the steps that have been taken to confront these risks."
