[rtl]The leaks of the minutes of the investigations of the Diwaniya Order Committee 29, known as the Abu Ragheef Committee, after its chairman, Lieutenant General Ahmed Abu Ragheef, are truly scandalous. Dr. Hamid Abdullah presented, in his program (Those Days), Bahaa al-Jourani's confessions, which indicated serving the whales of corruption, the cooperation of the leaders of the parliamentary blocs from various parties, and their mutual coordination to complete corruption deals, and to increase (commissions) and offer positions and sell them to whomever pays.

It seems that what has been leaked so far is a drop in the ocean, as it is said, and that what will be revealed in the coming days will be much more dangerous than what has become known now.

It is not new to talk about the involvement of all blocs in corrupt files, and that there are influential people who are contaminated with it from head to toe. The investigations and what has leaked so far have exposed political and parliamentary figures and ministers, with names, dates and facts. This is also no longer strange and surprising, but what is really strange is that no action has yet been taken against those named. Among them were those who raised their voices, "denouncing" the violations of the Abu Ragheef Committee.

Here, of course, we condemn and denounce every violation of human rights, and we stress that the investigation, any investigation, be carried out professionally and without prejudice to human dignity. But this should not mean covering up corruption and looting of public money. Just as the loud voice of those in power should not be a hindrance to justice and prevent it from taking its course against those whose names were mentioned.

It is unfortunate that (Tamtma) files and names are being conducted, and that the perpetrators are not arrested or merely summoned, and the result is that they are still in their positions having fun, and they are definitely, and as the popular proverb says: (Abu has a temper that changes his character), they continue to commit crimes without a scruple of conscience. There is no fear of a trial before an honest and courageous judge.

This puts the government to the test regarding its responsibility and the credibility of its claim to combat corruption, that is, carrying out the task that it sets at the top of its ministerial curriculum, which is no less important than restoring the value of the Iraqi dinar, which continues to decline against the dollar.

It is clear that the ruling coalition has so far been unable to find a way out of this situation, while its leaders contented themselves with issuing statements criticizing the aforementioned decline, talking about the poor living conditions of citizens, as if they were part of the opposition and not holding the political and governmental decision. And many examples of that.

The statements of several leaders of the ruling coalition, which shed crocodile tears and sow ashes in the eyes, do not absolve them of responsibility for the deterioration of the value of the dinar, the rise in prices, and the repercussions of all this on the lives and lives of those with limited income, the poor and the marginalized.
