    The Ministry of Planning announced, today, Wednesday, the outcome of the activities of the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control implemented during 2022.

    And he indicated that "the examination procedures included the calibration of (5589) levers for liquid fuel stations, (1785) goldsmiths' scales, (1640) asphalt mills and mills, and (1850) bridge scales, while (632) licenses were granted to practice the profession of drafting, and inspection ( 7658) shops for goldsmiths, and (48) violating shops were seized, and their owners were referred to the courts.

    Al-Hindawi added, "The number of patent certificates granted during the past year amounted to (775) patents, (70) certificates for industrial models, (6) certificates of quality, and (65) certificates for internal quality auditors."


    With regard to vehicle inspection, the ministry stated, "The device received more than (3) thousand electronic requests, and through auditing, it appeared that the number of matching requests amounted to (2624) requests, while the number of cars conforming to the Iraqi standard was (24) thousand and (675). car".

    In a related context, the teams of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control were able to conduct (5) thousand and (118) site checks on laboratories, withdraw (117) models from the markets, issue (88) standard specifications, and prepare (36) new laboratory specifications, And all of this happened during the past year 2022.
