[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The government spokesman, Basem Al-Awadi, affirmed that the government is committed to implementing what is stated in the Iraqi constitution.
Al-Awadi confirmed, according to a statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, that what was mentioned in Al-Sabah newspaper, under the title (Will the Kurdistan region be dissolved?), dated today, February 18, 2023, is a personal opinion, and does not represent a governmental or official point of view at all
. Al-Bayan: “The articles of the Iraqi constitution and what is stated there in regards to Iraq being a federal state, and the rest of the paragraphs that regulate the form of the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan region, are one of the most important gains from the new Iraq, which the government is working to consolidate and support; A commitment from it, a legitimate government elected in accordance with the constitution, and committed to applying it, as well as all Iraqi laws in force. / End 2[/rtl]
