The head of the National Commission for Investment, Haider Muhammad Makiya, continues his meetings with Saudi officials to activate investment and economic cooperation between Baghdad and Riyadh, calling for the provision of real work climates to develop the wheel of foreign investment in Iraq.
Muthanna Al-Ghanimi, the official spokesman for the National Commission, said, "The Chairman of the National Commission for Investment continues his meetings and the accompanying delegation with Saudi officials during his current visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to activate investment and economic cooperation between Baghdad and Riyadh."
He added, "The aim of the Iraqi delegation's visit is to implement a joint work program with the Saudi investment, commercial and economic sectors to advance development partnerships in the fields of oil, electricity, trade, agriculture, construction and housing."
Al-Ghanimi continued, "There are bilateral agreements with the Saudi side that will be implemented within the legal contexts aimed at encouraging the investment environment and attracting Saudi capital and investors to Iraq."
