    Information/Baghdad...
Independent MP Amir Al-Mamouri demanded, today, Wednesday, the House of Representatives to intensify holding sessions to pass and legislate stalled laws during the coming period.

Al-Mamouri said in a statement to Al-Maalouma agency, "The current parliamentary session needs to hold more parliamentary sessions, because there are many important broken laws that need legislation."
He added, "There is an objection by members of the House of Representatives about delaying the parliament sessions and not holding them at the specified time during the current parliamentary session, in light of the presence of demands for adherence to the timings."
Al-Mamouri pointed out that "the House of Representatives needs eight monthly sessions for the purpose of enacting stalled laws and completing the constitutional work and tasks assigned to the Council."
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, pursued a lot of political and popular criticism as a result of the failure to approve projects that affect the needs of citizens, especially with the presence of more than 120 draft laws suspended on the orders of al-Halbousi, according to observers. End / 25 sec
