Basra Gas Company intends to establish the first center of its kind for the rehabilitation and training of personnel in all oil companies, in cooperation with the "Opeto" organization.
An official source in the company told Al-Sabah that the center is the first of its kind in the Middle East and will be at the University of Basra. Universal supported despite its simplicity.
He added that the "Opito" organization, with which it was agreed, will grant accredited international certificates to oil personnel and trainees in all oil services and works that are needed to work in the sites, indicating that the center was able to give some introductory lectures to Iraqi trainees under the supervision of the organization during the last stage, on Although it is still under construction.
The source added that the center will be available to all trainees, whether from the company's staff or employees of other companies or the University of Basra, whether they are professors or graduates whose specialties are in contact with the oil sector, because the projects in which the Basra Gas Company operates are long-term and need a lot of people trained in this field. .
