The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, which led a recent dialogue with the central government regarding financing the region, announced that it had reached an agreement providing for immediate disbursement.

And the delegation stated in a statement that "NAS" received a copy of it (July 27, 2023), that it "arrived Wednesday, corresponding to 7/26/2023, in Baghdad and met with a delegation from the federal government to discuss the implementation of the budget law in order to send financial dues to the Kurdistan Region. The two sides reached an agreement regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Kurdistan Region Law in the budget."
According to the statement, "a joint memorandum was signed between the two delegations, and the Kurdistan region will be funded immediately."
