Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, yesterday, Saturday, launched work on the project to rehabilitate and develop the Commanding Officers Club, in the center of the capital, Baghdad, which the Council of Ministers had previously voted on, and referred it to the Serbian company that implemented the building in the eighties of the last century.
During his review of a plan presented by the implementing company that includes the details of the project, Al-Sudani stressed the need for it to be implemented according to the highest standards and specifications, and in a way that meets the actual need for the facility by the military institution. He also stressed the need to complete the project on the scheduled dates, and in accordance with the government’s approach, which relies on speed and accuracy in implementation. .
He stated that the Commanding Officers Club is one of the important urban monuments, stressing that the keenness to implement this service and entertainment project reflects the extent of the government’s interest and care for the commanding officers, whether they are in service or retired with their families.
It is noteworthy that the Serbian company (Yugo Import) will undertake the rehabilitation and development of all its facilities, which include halls, a theater and hotel apartments, as it is a place for holding conferences and receiving official delegations.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister discussed with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, a solution to the outstanding files and issues between the federal government and the regional government in accordance with the constitution.
