    [rtl]The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Thursday, its readiness to launch an economic empowerment project for beneficiaries of the protection network in Dhi Qar Governorate, to empower them in the fields of agriculture, livestock, poultry, and craft industries, in coordination with the World Bank.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Director General of the Department of Labor and Vocational Training at the Ministry, Osama Majeed Al-Khafaji, said, “Labor has completed all steps to launch the economic inclusion program for beneficiaries of the protection network in Dhi Qar Governorate, in coordination with the World Bank, which targets the category of those able to work and those covered by social care by empowering them economically in the fields of agriculture, livestock, poultry, and industries.” craftsmanship, especially in the marsh areas.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He stated that "the project will be experimental in its first stages, as it will depend on an indicator to measure the impact, on the basis of which it will move to the next stages of disseminating it among the rest of the governorates by providing the necessary support, by adopting new programs and ideas for capacity building and training in specialized technical fields."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Al-Khafaji added, “This will also contribute to improving professional skills and increasing knowledge in supporting and monitoring small projects and understanding labor market indicators and the basics of supply and demand in it, in a way that serves the groups benefiting from the Ministry’s services in general and the Department of Labor and Vocational Training in particular, in implementation of the government program and based on the applicable labor laws.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He stated that "his ministry is the sectoral body responsible for training and qualifying job seekers and other groups, as it contains vocational training centers in Baghdad and the governorates, and its mission is to develop their skills to find job opportunities in the private sector, with the possibility of granting them soft, income-generating loans to create their own projects, noting the necessity of having vocational centers." Modern and advanced training curricula, to meet the requirements for qualification, training and employment in the private sector.”[/rtl]
