Former Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq described, on Thursday, the extent of corruption in Salah al-Din as massive and disgusting. If the files of “corruption” in Salah al-Din were opened, no confronting figure would remain.
Al-Mutlaq said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, that “if the files of “corruption” in Salah al-Din were opened, no confronting figure would remain.”
Regarding the American presence, Al-Mutlaq stated that “the Americans are “volunteers” and provide service to Iraq and are not “occupiers.”
He pointed out that “the departure of the Americans means the departure of the ‘international coalition’ and we see no justification for creating hostility with the international community at a time when we reject the American encroachments on Iraq in any way.” .
