Political analyst: The prime minister-designate is a controversial figure with corruption files

Iraqi political analyst, Dr. Saadoun Al-Saadi, said that Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, who is charged with forming the Iraqi government, has a 7-year rule in absentia and has corruption files in the government of former Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
He noted the political analyst at the beginning of his speech that Allawi is a controversial figure, in addition to that he was a former minister twice, explaining that the demonstrators in the Iraqi street demanded a personality that does not belong to political parties.
The Iraqi political analyst said in an intervention on our screen, that the demonstrators in the Iraqi street were surprised by a candidate to form a new government. And that his assignment step came under pressure from the leader of the "Sadrist movement", Muqtada al-Sadr, and from the "Building and Reform" bloc Hadi al-Amiri.
