    [rtl]Today, Thursday, the Central Bank of Iraq renewed its warning against the misuse of electronic payment cards, while taking legal measures against those who are suspected of doing so.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Central Bank media stated, in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, that it “warns against the misuse of electronic payment cards and that it continues to refer the cards and their owners who are subject to this violation to the Office for Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added: “Reports of misused cards are referred to the Supreme Judicial Council for the purpose of taking legal measures against them based on the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law No. (39) of 2015 and the instructions issued pursuant to it, which helped the competent courts to issue their decisions including imprisonment and confiscation of cards.”[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Central Bank called "not to misuse electronic payment cards in any way to avoid legal accountability to which the card owner will be exposed."[/rtl]
