[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Oil prices stabilized today, Thursday, with a decline in demand for fuel in the United States, the largest oil consumer in the world, amid signs of a slowdown in the economy.
Brent crude futures rose nine cents to $88.11 per barrel, after falling 0.5 percent in the last session. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures for June delivery also rose seven cents to $82.88 per barrel, after falling 0.6 yesterday, Wednesday.
Administration data showed Yesterday, US Energy Information reported that demand for gasoline in the week ending April 19 decreased by 2.8 percent from the previous week and by 11 percent compared to last year./End2[/rtl]
