{Baghdad: Euphrates News} parliamentary Finance Committee member Ahmed Haj stressed that "the deduction of 3% of employees' salaries as a legal basis."
Haj told {Euphrates News} on Tuesday, said that "deductions from employees' salaries was based on what exists in the general budget of the country and imposed the deduction since the beginning of the month, but that has not been, where they were withholding the salaries of staff only once."
He continued saying that "deduction of 3% of employees 'salaries is an ongoing process," noting that "these deductions will monitor the popular crowd, and the displaced."
