The center of a political and security crisis mounting, Iraq's leaders meet for the first time since the U.S. withdrawal, in a symbolic meeting missed him Sadr and Allawi.

The meeting was attended at the home of the President of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim in Baghdad, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Parliament Speaker Osama Najafi, and Iraqi Vice President Khudair Alkhozai.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and ministers, MPs and religious leaders, including president Sunni الوقفين and Shiite, while absent from the meeting of Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr, the president of a coalition of "Iraq" Iyad Allawi.
And saw a reconciliation meeting between al-Maliki, the Shiite prime minister, who has ruled the country since 2006, and Najafi, one of the most prominent leaders of the coalition of the "Iraqi" year, where the two men shook hands and exchanged kisses under the eyes and applause.
And said to them, head of the Sunni Endowment Ahmed Abdul-Ghafoor Samarrai "Today is the best news for all Iraqis, swear I Afarahtm God Iraqis, and God Whitening your faces as Whittm and the faces of the Iraqis."
As al-Hakim said, "they are adults and as much responsibility."
For his part, Najafi considered that "the meeting was good, and I still differences and, God willing, we start a new beginning, and will build on this meeting, other meetings to search all files fraternal spirit."
He added that these meetings will aim to address "all the problems that demanded by the demonstrators and all Iraqi components correctly and fast."
He also stressed that "the not personally dispute with the al-Maliki, but is otherwise based on the differing views and, God willing, until all issues and all are committed to the constitution and build the country."
Najafi continued, "the situation in Iraq was very difficult on the brink of collapse and on the verge of witnessing a civil war, and this meeting was very important and must restore the situation to its stability."
The meeting came while the country has seen a deterioration in security carries a sectarian character which killed more than a thousand people in May, according to UN figures, while hampering the political differences since the withdrawal of U.S. forces end of 2011.

Maliki - Nujaifi disagreement solved

News / Reported news from the symbolic meeting room in Baghdad that
took place on Saturday stated that the dispute between Prime Minister,
Nuri al-Maliki and Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi was solved.

“Shafaq
News” reporter to the parties meeting hall said that the leader of the
Islamic Council who hosted the parties, succeeded in reconciliation of
Maliki and Nujaifi.

Hakims hold a symbolic meeting attended by most of the political leaders last night.

Maliki and Nujaifi did not comment on what happened, immediately.

Hakim’s
meeting was attended by Vice-President , Vice-Prime Ministers ,
ministers, MPs and religious leaders, including the heads of Sunni and
Shiite endowments, while the Shiite leader , Muqtada al-Sadr and head of
al-Iraqiya coalition, Iyad Allawi didn’t attend the meeting.
