Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Former Iranian President, Ahmedi Nijad, arrived in Najaf province on Thursday morning.
IraqiNews.com reporter stated “Nijad arrived at Najaf International Airport heading a supreme delegation,” noting that “Najaf Governor, Adnan al-Zurfi, received him at the Airport.”
Nijad told the journalists at the Airport “Our visit to this holy city is merely for religious purposes and it is an honor for us to visit it during the holy month of Ramadan.”
Then Nijad headed to the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon Him).
