Expert: requiring State agencies to buy local products is absolutely necessary for the development of the industrial sector

Baghdad (IBA). Industrial development expert Amer Al-jawahiri, activate
the decision requiring State agencies to buy products from the Ministry
of industry and minerals need kosoi to encourage local product
marketing.
The jeweller said in a statement to the independent
press agency (IBA) ... "the demands of the Ministry of industry and
minerals to activate the law requiring State agencies to buy local
products should be included in the General Budget Act for 2013 to all
Iraqi ministries are required to buy their products from the Ministry of
industry and limit goods and poor quality products imported from
neighbouring countries."
"The Iraqi products from the Government
sector and the private sector with good quality will help increase
demand and increasing demand will promote the product to improve product
quality in the Iraqi market and reduces the demand for consumer goods
from abroad".
The jeweller said "the commitment of all consumers
of ministries and Government departments to buy local products is a
national duty and will assign the Ministry of industry and minerals and
private sector institutions, saying: that is important in encouraging
the consumer to reduce the import of products from poor neighboring
countries and increase the supply of local produce and activate your
standardization and quality control in border ports".(End)
