The US economy is growing by more than previous estimates for the fourth quarter of 2016

(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Live: The US economy grew more than previously estimated in the fourth quarter of last year, in the third reading of the performance of the world 's largest economy.
Revealed the US Commerce Department on Thursday, gross domestic product (GDP) growth by 2.1% in the three months ended in December 2016 compared to a growth rate of 3.5% in the third quarter of the same year rate.
The previous reading of the rate of US economic growth during the fourth quarter of last year, showed the gross domestic product growth by 1.9%.
The US government revised its estimate for the growth of consumer spending to 3.3% from 3% in the previous reading.
The dollar rose against the euro by 0.3%, the European single currency to fall to the level of $ 1.0735 at 12:37 GMT.

Revealed the US Commerce Department on Thursday, gross domestic product (GDP) growth by 2.1% in the three months ended in December 2016 compared to a growth rate of 3.5% in the third quarter of the same year rate.
The previous reading of the rate of US economic growth during the fourth quarter of last year, showed the gross domestic product growth by 1.9%.
The US government revised its estimate for the growth of consumer spending to 3.3% from 3% in the previous reading.
The dollar rose against the euro by 0.3%, the European single currency to fall to the level of $ 1.0735 at 12:37 GMT.
