Basra Council: Direct export of liquid gas

Basra - The oil and gas committee in Basra Governorate Council announced on Tuesday the increase in the production of liquid gas (LPG) to reach more than (6000) tons per day after the opening of a series of projects for the production of this material, where the quantities exceeded the need of the country Which does not exceed (4500) tons per day. The head of the Human Rights Committee "Ali Shaddad Al-Fares" in a press statement today: The surplus material is the Ministry of Oil stored and exported out of Iraq through the ports of Basra within a group of successive shipments, which provides additional financial returns to boost the national economy and strengthen the federal budget. He continued that the increasing projects in the oil and gas sector and the adoption of the policy of investment optimization of the gas by the Ministry of Oil will contribute to the provision of large quantities of "liquid gas" and "gas condensers" and some other types in preparation for increased quantities exported after the need of the country, New business, domestic private sector activism, and self-sufficiency of oil and gas derivatives.
