Iranian and Italian companies competing for the implementation of the project of liquid gas delivery to the homes of Wasit

The Chairperson of the Committee on Energy in the province of Wasit hope Ugaili, the initial agreement between the provinces of Wasit and Ilam, on the implementation of the gas project delivery to the homes of citizens, as shown that the first experience of the project will be implemented in the near humpback oil field in the free hand, confirmed that one of the Italian companies expressed a desire great for the implementation of the said project and that the local government in Wasit is studying the offers submitted to it from both sides.
He said Ugaili (range), "A delegation from the local Wasit government headed by the province and the main committees of investment and energy in the governor and other officials Council recently met with the governor of Ilam Mahmoud Reda Amrawid and other officials in Ilam province to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the two provinces."
She added that " the government delegation discussed with a group of Iranian many investment opportunities that exist in Wasit province , and the possibility of companies to benefit from the existing expertise of those companies to work in various fields in Wasit Province." She stated that " the governments of Wasit and the Tigers have agreed to implement the first investment project of its kind to be implemented in Iraq and the goal of delivering liquid gas to the homes of citizens , as is the case in all Iranian cities, and more than an Iranian company expressed a desire to implement the said project."
She explained that " the first experience of this project will be implemented in the free hand (30 km west of Kut) to its proximity to the humpback oil field with a large amount of gas is burned daily without the benefit of them."
He said Ugaili that " the delivery of gas to the homes of citizens in the free hand project is one of the most important projects that the local government is seeking to implement them, especially since the Italian Delta entered the competition line for the implementation of this project and expressed a great desire to implement it ."
She noted that " the energy committee in the Wasit Provincial Council discussed with the director after the Italian Delta Iraqi investor Tariq al - Ani and his accompanying delegation , the gas project delivery pipe during a meeting held in the office of the governorate building."
She stated that "this project will be the first of its kind not on the level of Wasit province, but the level of the country in general because of its positive impact and feasibility of service and economic success for the people of the province."
He pointed out that "technically and technical meeting was held with the company 's Italian delegation in the presence of all specialists to develop a study and a roadmap on gas investment associated gas from oil fields in the fields of humpback and Badra, and the Italian company 's delegation requested field visits to oil fields and the surrounding areas to develop a full and visions of study after the future of the project strategic long - term to develop high - systems technology for the delivery of gas pipelines to citizens. She stressed that "in the event of reaching a formula for the implementation of the project , it must be approved by the Ministry of oil on all to ensure technical procedures make it work and the extent of its application in other provinces" .
The humpback oil field is located within the administrative borders of Wasit province currently produces about 140 thousand barrels of crude oil per day in addition to a large amount of liquid gas.
