Minister of Oil Jabbar Ali Al-Allaibi instructed the legal, administrative and technical bodies to form a working team comprising a number of specialists in order to improve the services provided to citizens through the development and modernization of systems and mechanisms of distributing oil derivatives on the basis of civilization and aesthetics.
"The Minister of Oil instructed the concerned parties to form specialized committees, including departments (legal, technical, administrative, investment) to develop a roadmap for the privatization of the distribution sector in stages in accordance with the laws and regulations in force," the spokesman of the ministry Asim Jihad said in a statement received by " .
Jihad added that "the Minister of Oil has set a period (one month) to complete and complete the Commission's preliminary recommendations on the plan, which he instructed, and this opens the way for private sector companies to develop the distribution sector to provide the best services and in keeping with the development of this sector in other countries."
