US allocated $200 m. for Peshmarga as debts to Iraq

Arbil/ Iraq TradeLink: Senior Kurdish Peshmarga official disclosed that the United States allocated 200 million dollars to organize and train two Kurdish Peshmarga brigades, which shall be added to Iraqi debts.
General Staff of the Peshmarga forces Qahraman Sheikh Kamal added that this amount is "not a sort of assistance, but part of the US debts to Iraq".
He added that the Kurdish authorities were, earlier, informed on this support, but it did not pay directly, but will pay the costs and arms.
"We demanded expending this amount on organizing and arming two brigades", he elaborated.
"These two new brigades shall be formed at the end of this year or the beginning of the next", he added.
It was reported that these two brigades will consist of 2200 personnel after completing training.
