    Germany warns of war in Gulf due to Qatar crisis

    BERLIN, June 11 (Xinhuanet) - German Foreign Minister Ziegmar Gabriel has warned of a war in the Gulf over the crisis between Qatar and a number of Gulf states.
    Gabriel said the crisis over Qatar could lead to war, the Russian Tass news agency reported.
    "There is a danger that these differences will turn into war," Gabriel was quoted by the Frankfurter-General newspaper as saying.
    In a joint press conference with Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Gabrielle said he rejected the embargo imposed on Qatar, stressing that Doha was a strategic partner for his country in the fight against terrorism.
    The German minister expressed the concern of his country and the international community about the tense events in the Middle East, calling at the same time to the need to reach a solution and lift the air and sea blockade of Qatar.
    The German Foreign Ministry has repeatedly called for a settlement of the dispute over Qatar by diplomatic means. Finished
