Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of the chieftains of Salah il-Din province demonstrated on Sunday protesting the negative statements launched by MP, Mutashar al-Samarai, of the Islamic Party within the Iraqiya Slate.
The reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) reported “Dozens of the chieftains of Salah il-Din province demonstrated on Sunday protesting Samarai’s negative statements,” noting that “The demonstrators called to lift the parliamentary immunity from him.”
The head of Salah il-Din Chieftains Council, Khamis al-Jabara stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We strongly condemn Samarai’s statements and do apologize for releasing such statements that represent Samarai himself.”
