Shafaq News / An MP of al-Iraqiya list, led by former Prime Minister, Iyad Allawi revealed on Monday, that a fugitive from Abu Ghraib prison killed a number of his cousins in Latifiya area, with the help of a group also believed to be from the fugitives from the mentioned prison.
Abu Ghraib prison was exposed in 21 of last July, to a flee process of about 1000 prisoners , mostly from leaders of al-Qaeda while al-Qaeda adopted the operation later, from the other hand the parliamentary investigative committee in Taji and Abu Ghraib prisons indicated the complicity of many security chiefs and their involvement in facilitating the task of the escape of prisoners .
“One of the escapees from the prison of Abu Ghraib called , Ghassan has killed several days ago, a number of his cousins in Latifiya at the funeral of their father,” The MP , Muthaher al-Janabi said in an interview for "Shafaq News”.
He pointed out that "the reason is due to the rejection of his cousins for his behavior in the past and their cooperation with the government," blaming "the government for the incident because of not publishing the names and pictures of the fugitives from Abu Ghraib prison in order to allow everyone to know them and cooperate with the security services,” he added.
