The committee on foreign relations confirmed on Monday that the main reason behind the recent Gulf rapprochement with Iraq is the "four-way alliance" and the Gulf countries' position on Qatar.

A member of the committee, Louis Caro, said in a statement to the «Journal News» that "the four-party alliance, which included (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar) may not follow the recent position of Qatar and the boycott of the Gulf States and some other Arab countries to them, Fit ".

He added that "Iraq has the elements that prompted the Gulf countries to restore relations with him, including how to manage the war on terrorism and dealing with him for years with the dangers of terrorist organizations."

"Iraq has experience in how to deal with terrorist gangs, and it is possible that the Gulf countries will benefit from expertise in this field, especially that the da'is has become a global threat to all countries in the region." In response to the recent Gulf rapprochement Iraq will distance its neighbor from Iran, Karo said that "despite the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a neighbor and supporter of Iraq, it does not prevent the return of Iraq to the Arab axis and its relations with regional countries, mutual respect".

"

And the convergence of some Gulf countries with the leader of the Sadrist movement, "Moqtada al-Sadr," said that "Saudi Arabia seeks to make Iraq a trench to confront Iran, and political leaders to recognize this dangerous endeavor."

Al-Khairallah ruled out that there would be a government intervention in this visit. The UAE has invited the person exclusively, stressing that the choice of Muqtada al-Sadr among other political figures to invite him to visit these countries is because of their sense of wrongdoing Iraq's boycott during the last stage, The personality of His Eminence is a transient sectarianism and represents all the components of the Iraqi people not a specific component, which has created an atmosphere of interaction and dialogue with him by the Gulf States.

He pointed out that "Sadr's visit falls within the interest of Iraq, especially as Sadr discussed international political and economic files."

According to political analysts, the visit of Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed al-Khalifa has many dimensions, including to promote the opening of the Gulf to Iraq and influence the religious authority in Bahrain to end the conflict and away from political action.
