The Jordanian government: Our relationship with Iraq is strategic

Minister of State for Media Affairs, spokesman of the Jordanian government Mohammad al-Momani said on Saturday that his country's relations with Iraq are "strategic", pointing out that relations with Syria are starting to take a positive direction.
"Our relationship with Iraq is strategic and it continues and develops," the official Al-Rai newspaper quoted Momani as saying. "Jordan has helped Iraq face terrorism."
Momani expressed his hope that "the reopening of the Trebil crossing soon, for the common interest of the two brotherly countries."
On the other hand, Momani stressed that "relations with Syria began to take a positive direction, after the stability that began in the south of Syria," pointing out that "relations are likely to develop better and look forward to further steps in this regard." Ending / 25
