[rtl]Jordanians are considering a new package of taxes under economic reforms the government has pledged to implement, in line with the demands of the International Monetary Fund.[/rtl]

[rtl]Warnings of severe harm to low-income people are being followed by these expected fiscal measures, at a time when the government says the tax file will take care of the middle class and low-income people.[/rtl]

[rtl]Next week, a delegation from the IMF will visit the Jordanian capital, Amman, to review the financial and economic measures taken by the Kingdom.[/rtl]

[rtl]In a new income tax bill, the government aims to reduce the ceiling on income tax exemptions for individuals whose annual income is 6,000 dinars ($ 8.4 thousand) instead of 12,000 dinars ($ 16.9 thousand) and 12,000 dinars ($ 16.9,000) 24 thousand dinars (33.8 thousand dollars), while expected to be handed over to Parliament by the end of this year.[/rtl]

[rtl]Economists warned in an interview with Anatolia that the government continues to target the entry of citizens who are basically eroded, as an easy way to meet their international obligations, believing that this will adversely affect economic growth rates.[/rtl]

[rtl]The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Jordan's real GDP growth to reach 2.3 percent in 2017, supported by structural reforms and fiscal discipline.[/rtl]

[rtl]The government began its first meal of tax reform last February by imposing measures to raise fuel prices, increase telecommunications and personal status services.[/rtl]

[rtl]The government also imposed increases in the fees of some other government transactions to boost revenue and generate an estimated $ 450 million in revenue under its commitments with the International Monetary Fund.[/rtl]
