Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) announced that it will raise the official sale price of Basra light crude to Asia next month.
"The price of heavy Basra crude for Asia in the same month is set at a discount of $ 3.40 a barrel from the average prices offered to Oman and Dubai," Sumo said in a statement.
The official sale price of Basrah Light for North American and South American shipments was set at $ 0.20 above the Argos index for high sulfur crude, down from the previous month while the price of Kirkuk crude to the US fell to $ 0.85 per barrel above the same index.
For shipments to Europe, the price of Basrah Light crude was set at $ 0.25 to Brent, below $ 2.80 per barrel, while the December price of Kirkuk crude was set at $ 2.75 less than Brent's price.
