Baghdad Municipality announced on Tuesday the completion of maintenance and rehabilitation of all vertical and submersible stations within the municipality of Sadr first.
A statement by the Directorate of Relations and Information in the Municipality of Baghdad that the staff of the Department completed the electrical and mechanical work for all stations, submersible and vertical and the formation of the guts and cleaning the sugars for the durability of work at maximum capacity, especially in the case of heavy rain.
He added that the staff of the sewer department also maintained generators to operate power plants in the event of a national power outage and the processing of generators fuel and replace the damaged batteries.
He added that the department has also completed the cleaning of subways and pipelines for sewage and rain, cleaning the lines and compensating the lost and damaged manholes.
He pointed out that the Department is working on replacing the payment line of station 6 in Al Falah Street with a length of 400 meters and a diameter of 500 mm and a depth of two meters by replacing the old pipe with a new plastic pipe and connecting a payment line station 5 on the emergency line to the station. 4) belonging to the second Sadr City Municipality towards the police channel with a length of (50) meters and a diameter of (400) mm in Al Jawadar Street and the front of Sector 44.
