    BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the Moscow and Washington agreements do not presume the withdrawal of "pro-Iranian formations" from Syria, adding that the talk was "non-Syrian forces."
Lavrov told a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday that Moscow had discussed with the Americans the mechanism of action to reduce the tension in south-west Syria, which Jordan participated in work to establish.
He stressed that the Russian-American-Jordanian agreements assume the withdrawal of "non-Syrian formations" from this region, adding that "the talk did not address the issue of Iran or particularly forces loyal to Iran."
Lavrov made the remark in response to a question on a statement by the US State Department announcing that Moscow had agreed to contribute to the removal of "pro-Iranian forces" from the territory of Syria.
"If we look at who represents the greatest threat, they are followers of the United States, foreign terrorists and insurgents trying to join the opposition groups backed by the United States," he said.
The Russian foreign minister confirmed that the forces of Russia and Iran are in Syria legally and at the invitation of the legitimate government, unlike the US-led coalition forces.
In response to a question about the accusations against Washington of tolerance of terrorists in the Syrian capital, Lavrov, the United States tolerated the terrorists during the purges of Syrian tenderness as well as Iraqi Mosul, Lavrov said, opening corridors for the departure of armed militants from both cities.
The Russian minister said that there are many questions about Washington's objectives in Syria, saying that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said more than once that the elimination of "dashing" is the sole goal of the United States, but Defense Minister Matisse said recently that his country's troops will remain in Syria Unless Washington is convinced that this country is "moving in the right direction."
On the other hand, Lavrov continued to work on forming a list of participants in the Syrian national dialogue conference in order to be comprehensive to the maximum extent.
