    Follow-up / Sky Press:

The US president decided to return North Korea to the list of state sponsors of terrorism, and pointed out that his country will announce, the imposition of new sanctions on Pyongyang.

Earlier, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a twitter comment: "President Donald Trump" has announced that the United States will include North Korea again as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Trump then appeared in a televised interview with reporters during his meeting with his cabinet members at the White House.

He said in a statement to the media that he had decided to include North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.

He pointed out that "the Treasury Department in his country will announce tomorrow, new sanctions on Pyongyang, according to the classification of the list mentioned."

In 1988, Washington listed Pyongyang as a state sponsor of terrorism, but quickly withdrew it under George W. Bush after entering into negotiations to halt North Korea's nuclear activities.
