A secret report by UN sanctions monitors showed that the remnants of four ballistic missiles fired by Yemeni Houthis into Saudi Arabia this year appear to be designed and manufactured by Iran.
"It does not yet have evidence to confirm the identity of the mediator or supplier," which violated the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations in April 2015.
According to a report dated November 24, prepared by the United Nations Independent Observers' In the report that the observers inspected two Saudi military bases to inspect the remnants of the missiles collected by the Kingdom after the attacks on May 19, June 22, July 26, and November 4. The observers also lost four "impact points" behind the November 4 attack and other remnants of the missiles were detected.
"The characteristics of the design and the dimensions of the components examined by the Commission are in line with the characteristics and dimensions reported for the Iranian missile design and manufacturing," the observers wrote.
The range of the Qaim-1 rocket is about 500 miles and can carry a 1400-pound warhead.
