[ltr]Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused the United States of trying to "buy the will in dollars" in the world, stressing that Turkey's will can not be bought.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The United States is the cradle of democracy, the cradle of democracy is seeking to buy the will in the world's dollar," Erdogan said during a speech at the presidential palace in Ankara on Thursday, commenting on US warnings to countries that would vote against Washington's decision on Jerusalem at the UN General Assembly.[/ltr]

[ltr]The President appealed to all countries of the world, saying: "You sell your will and the struggle for democracy with a handful of dollars."[/ltr]

[ltr]Erdogan expressed hope that the United States will not get the desired result, today, hoping that the world will teach America a good lesson.[/ltr]
[ltr]The United Nations General Assembly on Thursday is holding an emergency meeting to vote on a draft resolution condemning the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The United States delegate to the United Nations, Nicky Hailey, has vowed to vote against the United States, saying that Washington "does not expect to be targeted by those who help them," adding that the United States will "register names" countries that will oppose.[/ltr]
