    He pointed out that "there are sources that revealed the sale of girls to one of the casinos in the area of ​​Twail in Baghdad for the purpose of work and the practice of prostitution and offer them for sale again "He said.

    "Some families of the Roma are forced to sell their daughters because of dealing with riba and accumulating debts," he said, adding that "selling involves removing the responsibility of the family from the girl and not asking her or paying half of the money for her divorce." 

    He pointed out that "this phenomenon is also recorded among Roma girls in the provinces of Karbala, Babylon and Diwaniyah." 

    He explained that "the security authorities can not take action on this unless there is a complainer on this phenomenon of girls," and called on the judicial and security authorities to address this situation and the imposition of the maximum sanctions against those behind them and educate the community on the dangers of this phenomenon in all areas of the province, Pointing out that "the Council of Ministers decided in March 2012, the formation of a central committee to implement the law against human trafficking No. 28 for the year 2012 headed by the Minister of Interior, which has become effective from its history."
