On Friday evening, in New York, the Security Council began its emergency session on the situation in Iran, which was held at the request of the United States.

"What happened in Iran is an automatic expression of a basic right to human rights, where the people protested in more than 79 cities after it was overflowing," the UN permanent representative to the council, Nikke Healy, said. To hear now. "

"The Iranian government believes that human rights are the responsibility of governments that control the people, but no government has the right to dispose of these rights," she said.

"We have seen the threat of peace time and time again, and what is happening in Iran carries a fundamental fact: the Iranian regime deserves the voice of its people."

"The Iranian people know that their government spends 6 billion a year on forces in Yemen, Syria and Iraq, and therefore demands that it stop this spending and think about it," she said.

"The Iranian regime cut off the Internet and tried to cut off communication between the demonstrators, but we will not allow that."

"I call on the government of Iran to stop censoring the voice of the people, because in the end, the people will decide their fate," she said.

"We will not stop, and attempts to describe the demonstrators as puppets driven by Iyad from abroad will not succeed," said Haley.

France's representative to the council, François Delfer, called on the Iranian government to "engage in dialogue with the demonstrators," pointing out that "the Iranians alone have the right to engage in a Raslami dialogue.
