After the resumption of its fourth ordinary session of the second legislative term of the fourth legislative year, headed by Dr. Salim al-Jubouri, Speaker of the House of Representatives and the presence of 195 deputies on Monday, 15/1/2018, the first reading of three draft laws.
At the beginning of the session, the chairman of the council condemned the cowardly criminal act that targeted the innocent citizens in Baghdad today, calling on the security services to take the necessary measures to protect citizens, stressing the importance of preserving the national cohesion and the gains of victory against terrorism.
Then the Council read Al-Fatihah in honor of the martyrs of Iraq and the victims of the terrorist operation in Baghdad
On the other hand, Mr. Jabouri pointed out that the Presidency formed a committee to review the priorities that were obtained on the vote on the amnesty law and the results that led to the publication of the law, noting that the problem was the confusion during the voting process on the amnesty law and the recording of interventions and the submission and delay in voting on Subject.

Al-Jubouri pointed out that the Minister of Electricity, Mr. Qassem al-Fahdawi, sent a letter stating that he was visiting abroad. He said that the questioning of the minister will be on the agenda at next Wednesday's session.
It was then decided to adjourn the meeting until next Wednesday 17/1/2018.
