Interior and Communications will soon start the project of {protect Baghdad}

The senior agent for technical affairs at the Ministry of Communications, Amir al-Bayati, told Al-Sabah that the ministry is working on implementing the major sovereign projects in the form of payment in a timely manner. The coordination with the Ministry of Interior and related bodies to implement the project of protecting Baghdad in the form of four stages and a total cost of four billion dollars , Confirming the existence of preliminary approvals for its implementation. Al-Bayati said that the protection of Baghdad is one of the most important projects that the ministry is working on, especially in the post-"dads" phase to secure the entrances of the capital through special electronic systems and air balloons, as well as cameras linked to a presidential monitoring center, As well as the observation of river portals of the capital. Al-Bayati said that the project will serve effectively the security aspect, noting that there are discussions with security experts to see their views in its application on the ground, especially that the Ministry of Communications prepared the study and its implementation mechanism. He pointed out that the project stopped during the last year because of the financial crisis experienced by the country, but after the conversion of the implementation of the payment method in the project was given more importance than previously. Al-Bayati said that the project could be developed in the future after implementation. It is possible to involve the private sector in the development and modernization according to the latest electronic security systems adopted in the countries of the world because it carries electronic applications that can be implemented by the private sector companies concerned with security. In the same regard, the technical deputy of the province of Baghdad Jassim Mohan Bakhati told "Sabah" that the province has entered into a memorandum of understanding with a French company with experience to prepare designs for the project to establish an integrated security system managed by more than 8,000 engineers with a monument 23 thousand surveillance cameras and balloons "The company has completed the preparation of the designs and submitted them to the Cabinet for examination and approval for the purpose of implementation by the competent companies, because this project is a major shift in the security situation of the capital. He explained that the province has another security project covering the squares and major intersections in Baghdad as well as strategic sites surveillance cameras, has been installed 730 cameras so far and there is an intention to increase to 2,000 cameras, but the financial allocations to prevent it, noting that the province will find a mechanism to finance the completion of the project .
