    [rtl]Forty-one people were killed and 70 injured Friday when a fire broke out in the southern city of Mireang.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The fire is suspected to have started at 7:30 am in the emergency room on the first floor of the main building of the Sejong Health Care Hospital in the city, about 280 km southeast of Seoul.[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to the authorities concerned, the fire lasted for one hour and 40 minutes.[/rtl]
    [rtl]It is estimated that about 200 patients were inside the hospital building when the fire broke out and 52 people, mostly elderly patients, were transferred to 4 nearby hospitals.[/rtl]

    , killing more than 40 people were killed, and wounded about 79 others wounded in afire Friday at the Sejong Hospital for the care of the elderly in Miling to South Korea , according to a local official in the Fire Department and the media. 

    According to South Korea's Yonhap news agency, firefighters evacuated nearly 200 people from the main hospital building and nursing home directly behind him. 

    The city of Meilang is about 270 km southeast of Seoul.



    The fire came a month after a similar fire killed 29 people in an eight-story building in the city of Gecheon. 

    The presidential office said South Korean President Mon Jie N has held an emergency meeting with his top aides to discuss ways to deal with the tragic fire. 

    It is suspected that the fire broke out at 7:30 am local time in the emergency room on the first floor of the main building of Sejong Health Care Hospital and lasted for one hour and 40 minutes.
