The Cabinet decided on Tuesday to approve the implementation of the second national strategy to alleviate poverty in Iraq for the years 2018-2022 through the implementation of the programs and activities included in the strategy.
The text of the resolution, according to a statement of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received the "Baghdad Post" a copy of "the adoption of a permanent mechanism to ensure good governance in the implementation and follow-up and evaluation of the activities and programs of the strategy, and support and implementation of some of the activities of the strategy within the projects involved in private donors and regional and international organizations, To implement household surveys, statistical surveys and studies that serve to monitor and evaluate the strategy, as well as to improve the administrative databases relevant to the strategy in ministries and stakeholders. "
