The House of Representatives voted in October 2006, the Iraqi investment law and ensures a lot of facilities to foreign investors, but many foreign companies hesitated because of the fear of the security reality is stable in Iraq, the law was amended on 13 October 2009, and was the most significant amendments to the law giving the right for Iraqi and foreign investors to own land and property belonging to the State allowance determined in accordance with a special system.
