[rtl]Italy and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) announced that Iraq had donated $ 832.5 million for reconstruction during their participation in the donor conference for reconstruction held in Kuwait .[/rtl]
[rtl]"His country will give Iraq about 332.5 million dollars, of which 260 million euros (321 million dollars) in soft loans," said the Director-General of Italian Development Cooperation .[/rtl]
[rtl]In addition to these concessional loans, Rome will provide Baghdad with $ 6.5 million in grants and humanitarian aid of $ 5 million, Giorgio Marabudi said during his participation in the Iraq Reconstruction Conference in Kuwait .[/rtl]
[rtl]The head of the Islamic Development Bank, Ahmed Mohamed Ali, said that the largest development bank in the Islamic world is ready to finance the reconstruction and infrastructure of Iraq for 500 million dollars .[/rtl]
[rtl]Qatar has announced $ 1 billion in loans and investments for the reconstruction of Iraq and Germany has indicated it will provide $ 350 million in aid .[/rtl]
[rtl]Japan has indicated it will contribute $ 100 million to Iraq through UN agencies and international organizations.[/rtl]
[rtl]The director-general of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning, Qusay Abdul-Fattah, estimated the cost of rebuilding Iraq after the war years by 88.2 billion dollars (104.61 trillion dinars ).[/rtl]
[rtl]The Acting Iraqi Minister of Planning and Trade also estimated that his country needs $ 100 billion for reconstruction over a 10-year period beginning in 2018 .[/rtl]
