    Italy's ambassador to UNESCO, Massimo Ricardo, announced on Sunday that his government has allocated a grant of one million euros to support education in Iraq through UNESCO programs for this purpose. 
    Ricardo said in a statement reported in the newspaper "morning" and seen it (information), that "the Government of his country has allocated this grant to implement a program to improve access to quality and comprehensive education for children out of school, especially in the areas of Baghdad, Mosul and Salah al-Din." 
    The Permanent Representative of Italy to UNESCO, that "this grant comes within the framework of helping Iraq and the promotion of fruitful cooperation between the two countries, and to support the education sector in areas where armed conflict."
